Animal Collection Manager

Darren McGarry is the Animal Collection Manager at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and is based in Edinburgh Zoo. He has worked for the RZSS since 1986, where he manages the Animal Department in the Animals, Conservation, and Education Department. Darren is also the Chair of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquaria (BIAZA) Hoof Stock Focus Group and a member of the pygmy hippo, Indian rhino and Amur leopard European Endangered Species Program (EEP) committees.
